Homebuyers Willing to Sacrifice ‘Must-Haves’ in Favor of Good School Districts | Simplifying The MarketIt should come as no surprise that buying a home in a good school district is important to homebuyers. According to a report from Realtor.com, 86% of 18-34 year-olds and 84% of those aged 35-54 indicated that their home search areas were defined by school district boundaries. What is surprising, however, is that 78% of […]

Existing Home Sales Cooling Off This Summer [INFOGRAPHIC] | Simplifying The Market

Some Highlights:

  • According to the National Association of Realtors’ latest Existing Home Sales Report, sales in June were down 2.2% from last year.
  • Inventory of homes for sale showed a modest improvement of 0.5% over last year’s figures, but still remains under the 6-month supply needed for a normal market.
  • NAR’s Chief Economist Lawrence Yun had this to say: “There continues to be a mismatch since the spring between the growing level of homebuyer demand in most of the country in relation to the actual pace of home sales, which are declining. The root cause is without a doubt the severe housing shortage that is not releasing its grip on the nation’s housing market.”

What my clients are saying

If you are considering moving to the High Desert, Rob is your guy! It is not by coincidence that he is dubbed the Realty Dude. Rob's real estate knowledge, professionalism, courtesy, responsiveness, negotiation skills, people skills, love of homes and willingness to go above and beyond makes the home buying process a lot less stressful and dare I say... enjoyable! He is the entire package, whether you are buying a home for the first time or a fourth time (like us), Rob is exactly what any home buyer needs. I have no doubt that He and his team will take good care of you... just as he did with us. He listened, got to know us, patiently and happily showed us as many homes as we wanted to see. Most importantly, he knew what we wanted and sold us a home that suited each and everyone of us. Don't hesitate, call Rob today!

~ W & A

Rob has a great base of knowledge of the area and was able to price our house accordingly. He was able to negotiate a fair price with minimal issues, and closed the sale quickly. Rob was easy to contact, very quick to respond to our needs/requests, and kept us up to date with the sales/negotiation process. I would highly recommend Rob St Onge as an agent.
